September 2007 saw the introduction of extended learning to replace the “homework tasks” we have set previously. One aim of the new tasks is to give greater flexibility, allowing students to fit them in around their busy lives.

The tasks help students to develop vital life skills that they will require when they leave school. These include time management, ICT, creativity, presentation and research skills.

Vision2learn for schools is an innovative, flexible and unique online learning environment that provides vocational qualifications via e-learning to 14-19 year olds.  Pupils can study online, with teacher support, and gain nationally recognised vocational qualifications in addition to their GCSEs.
